euro-office shares documents with people who don't have an EmpireVault login in two ways: invite them by email for ongoing access (including editing), or hand out a public link for simple view-and-download access. Both live in the item's Share panel and are managed by the item's owner.
In the Share panel's External people section, enter the person's email address and pick a role: Viewer (open and download) or Editor (also edit documents in the browser). Invitations work on documents and folders - a folder invitation covers everything inside it.
The person receives an email link that confirms they control that address and takes them to a "Shared with you" page listing everything shared with them - no account or password to set up. Sign-in links expire after 30 minutes, but a fresh one can be requested from the sign-in page at any time; once signed in, they stay signed in for 7 days.
For quick view-only sharing, create a public link on a document (documents only, not folders). Anyone with the link can view that one document in the browser and download it - nothing else in your workspace is visible.
Workspace administrators can review every public link and external invitation in one place: open Settings in euro-office and follow the External access link. Administrators can revoke any link or invitation, but creating them stays with each item's owner.
