Every tool's top bar carries the same bell icon with your unread count. It collects what happened across all of EmpireVault - a ticket or task assigned to you, a new lead, a deal changing stage, a quote being accepted or declined, a form submission, someone mentioning you in a comment, client activity on a project portal, and quote approval requests and decisions. Open the dropdown to review recent notifications and jump straight to the related record.
Opening a notification marks it read. Mark all read clears your unread count in one step. You're never notified about your own actions.
Navigate to Account > Notifications to switch individual notification types on or off. Eight types are toggleable: ticket assigned, task assigned, new lead, deal stage changed, quote accepted, quote declined, form submission, and mentions. A few types always notify and have no toggle - quote approval requests and decisions, and client activity arriving through a project portal - because someone is actively waiting on you for those.
On the same page you can turn on the daily digest - a single morning email (around 8am in your organization's timezone) that gathers your unread notifications, your due and overdue tasks, and any support tickets whose SLA is at risk. It's off by default; turn it on if you'd rather start the day from one summary than watch the bell. Every digest includes an unsubscribe link that switches it back off in one click.
